Abstract: This paper summarizes the development and current situation of building materials packaging materials, puts forward the possibility of applying degradable plastics to building materials packaging, and looks forward to the development trend

1. The development process of building materials packaging

It is a supplement to the increasingly exhausted oil resources, and shows the advantages and bright prospects of biotechnology and alloy technology in the field of plastic materials from the perspective of synthetic technology. Therefore, the research, development, promotion and application of degradable plastics, whether from the practical point of view of environmental protection of the earth or from the inexhaustible renewable resources, It is also of great significance from the academic point of view of the synthesis of functional polymers

In China, about 160000 tons of plastic woven cement bags are discarded in nature every year, causing great harm to the environment. If degradable plastics are used in building materials packaging instead of general plastics, it will integrate the light weight, high strength and degradability of ordinary plastics, which will not only meet the needs of actual production, but also greatly reduce the pollution to the environment after being used and discarded. The application of degradable plastics in building materials packaging has the following advantages:

4. Outlook

combined with the characteristics of degradable plastics and building materials packaging materials, degradable plastics need to solve the following problems:

(1) controllability of degradation time: the newly implemented national standard for cement strictly stipulates the use time of cement. Therefore, degradable plastics, whether in formula design and production, should be studied under various application conditions to meet the actual needs of cement and other products

(2) use performance: degradable plastics are used in the production of plastic woven bags. The contradiction between moisture resistance and permeability needs to be solved, otherwise it will cause dust pollution and inaccurate measurement, causing a series of problems

(3) degradable plastics should ensure certain strength and toughness to avoid damage during filling and handling

(4) degradable plastics need to be further studied in terms of carrier resin selection, degradation mode and production equipment
